Philosophy of Education

Sky’s the Limit Homeschool Group provides a safe and encouraging environment for homeschooled or alternate-learning families. We offer support, resources, and educational opportunities to enrich home curriculum. Our goal is to cultivate positive learning and socialization experiences to promote a growth mindset and facilitate relationship building, education, and self-confidence.

We believe God has a plan and purpose for every person that can only be found in Jesus Christ (Jeremiah 29:11).

We believe that education is the primary responsibility of parents. By teaching, guiding, and educating our children based on the Word of God, they will receive a firm foundation on which to build their lives. Our class content reflects Biblical values and principles and is dedicated to nurturing students’ development by promoting honesty, integrity, compassion, and respect for others (Mark 12:30-31; Proverbs 22:6).

We aim to prepare our students, spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and morally to go out into the world confident in who they are and what God has called them to do (Ephesians 6:10-18; James 1:5-6).

We help our students connect what they are learning to real life and provide hands-on opportunities to connect them with their God-given talents, passions, and eternal purpose (Colossians 2:2-3).

To uphold this vision, the members of the STL board reserve the right to reject any submitted classes that we believe directly contradict our standards.

Based on the reasons above, we encourage parents to teach wholesome classes that will edify the group, foster strong family connections, and nurture beautiful hearts and minds.
